It is possible to visit Tangier in Morocco for a day trip from Tarifa. The Tarifa to Tangier ferry ride is approximately 45 minutes and the Tarifa ferry port is about an hour’s drive from the Casa Isa Elena.
Tangier is a beautiful Moroccan city with traditional narrow, labyrinthine streets through the medina and souk (market). Haggling with Moroccan market sellers for spices and leather goods is a unique and enjoyable experience. Tour guides can be hired at the port if you prefer.
