Surfing and paddle boarding at many beaches along the coast. Most famous points are El Palmar, Caños de Meca and Yerbabuena – each approx 30 mins drive away from Casa Isa Elena.
La Barrosa, in walking distance, has many surf schools including Oasis and Esencia.
Kitesurfing is also popular on La Barrosa offered by Kite Surf Chiclana among other companies.
Boat tours, Whale Watching and fishing
Various companies operate boat and fishing tours from Sancti Petri Marina, including:
Whale watching trips generally run from Tarifa (about an hour’s drive away). The season is from June to October.
The Foundation for Information and Research on Marine Mammals FIRMM and other organisations around Tarifa and Zahara de los Atunes offer various sea-life watching excursions.
Waterparks
Aqualand at Jerez – 40 mins drive.
Bahia Park at Algeciras – 1 hr 10 mins drive.

Hammam Sancti Petri is less than 10 min walk away from Casa Isa Elena. It’s a reminder of the Moorish influence on this area of Andalucia and of just how close the Morrocan coast is.
The Hammam offers luxurious Arab baths and massage treatments.
It has a Morrocan restaurant with belly dancing shows and rooftop terrace cocktail bar.
La Debla in Chiclana town is considered to represent the best of Flamenco in the Cadiz region – shows are on Thursdays and Saturday evenings during the summer.
Belly-dancing shows are held during high season at the restaurant of the Hammam Sancti Petri just a few minute’s walk from Casa Isa Elena
Golf
Our closest 18 hole golf course backs onto the garden- Sancti Petri Hills and has a small club house on Calle Marco Aurelio.

Horse Riding and Shows
The Hipica equestrian centre, less than 10 mins drive away, offers riding on the beaches or through nearby forest. During the summer they have shows combining flamenco and dressage.
Of course, Jerez, is famous for the Dancing Horses of Andalucia show – an unforgetable equestrian ballet. Best to book tickets in advance.
Hiking
Fabulous coastal walks in either La Barrosa or Roche direction.
